About the Brand
Who is GAC Mitsubishi?
GAC Mitsubishi was the joint venture between Guangzhou Automobile Group and Mitsubishi Motors, based in Changsha and best known for the Outlander and the China-only Eclipse Cross and Airtrek EV. It is the one brand on this list we will not oversell: Mitsubishi withdrew from local production in China in 2023 and GAC took over the Changsha plant, so the joint venture no longer builds new vehicles.
Because the joint venture has stopped producing, there is no new-vehicle supply to export and no factory channel behind it. Mitsubishi continues to sell worldwide from its plants in Japan, Thailand and Indonesia, and those are the sources for genuine new Mitsubishi product. If you specifically need GAC Mitsubishi units, talk to us first about what actually exists rather than placing an order against a catalogue that is no longer being built.
The joint venture stopped building vehicles in China in 2023, so there is no current factory supply and no official export channel. Anything still available would be residual stock moving through the parallel-export channel, verified unit by unit.
