Patient transport ambulance

Basic body for moving patients between home, clinic and hospital: stretcher with loading system, attendant seats, oxygen supply, lighting and warning equipment. The lowest-cost build and the common choice for rural health posts.

Monitoring / ICU ambulance

Advanced life support layout: monitor, ventilator, defibrillator, suction and infusion mounts, more power outlets and storage. Equipment is specified per order, so the medical list on your tender decides the build.

Negative-pressure ambulance

Isolation body that keeps air flowing from the cab into the patient area and out through a filtered exhaust, for infectious-disease transfers.

Powertrain and chassis

Electric, diesel or petrol

Diesel

The most common ambulance build in China and the easiest to service in most export markets.

Petrol

Offered on some van chassis; a fit where diesel quality is poor or petrol is cheaper.

Battery-electric

Electric van chassis with ambulance bodies exist. Medical equipment, air-conditioning and the cabin heater all draw on the battery, so we confirm real range for your duty cycle and the charging standard for your country before quoting.

Can EV Auto Pro supply ambulances from China?
Yes, on request. Ambulances are built to order by Chinese upfitters on a van chassis, so we do not keep ambulance stock. Tell us the type, powertrain, drive side, equipment list, destination and quantity, and we come back with the builds that match and a real quote.
How much does an ambulance from China cost?
It depends mainly on the chassis, the body type (transport, monitoring / ICU or negative-pressure) and the medical equipment list, and listed prices from Chinese builders vary widely for that reason. We quote per configuration rather than publish one number we could not hold.
Are electric ambulances available from China?
Yes, ambulance bodies are built on some battery-electric van chassis. Because medical equipment and climate control run off the same battery, we confirm the real range for your routes and the charging standard used in your country before we quote an electric build.
Can I get a right-hand-drive ambulance?
Not every chassis is built in right-hand drive in China. Tell us your country and we confirm which chassis have a factory right-hand-drive version before quoting.
What standard are Chinese ambulances built to?
In China, ambulances are built to QC/T 457-2023, the industry standard that replaced QC/T 457-2013 from 1 November 2023. Your country may require its own standard, such as EN 1789 in Europe. Send us the requirement and we check it against the build before you order.
