Who is BYD Leopard?
Fangchengbao, sold overseas as BYD Leopard, is BYD's personality and off-road brand, sitting between the mainstream BYD line-up and the ultra-premium Yangwang. It uses BYD's DMO super-hybrid off-road platform and Blade batteries, and targets buyers who want rugged styling and genuine off-road capability without giving up plug-in efficiency.
Overseas sales began in 2025 and are routed through BYD's existing global network rather than a separate one, which is the main practical advantage of the brand abroad. Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific are the priority regions, with the Titanium 3 compact SUV the first model taken out of China at scale. Because the brand is new outside China, model and market coverage changes quickly — confirm current availability with us.
