About this model

Where the Deepal L07 sits in the market

The L07 is Deepal's Huawei-equipped sister model to the SL03, sold alongside it since September 2024 — 4,875 mm on a 2,900 mm wheelbase. The 2026 update of August 2025 gives every version a 200 kW rear motor with 290 Nm: battery-electric with 56.12 or 68.82 kWh LFP packs for 550 or 660 km CLTC, or a range-extender with a 28.39 kWh pack, 240 km of electric running and over 1,500 km combined behind a 70 kW 1.5-litre generator.

The split between the two cars is deliberate: the SL03 is positioned on driving dynamics, the L07 on technology. Huawei's Qiankun ADS SE driver-assistance system is standard on every variant, which is the reason to quote the L07 in markets where Huawei carries consumer recognition. LFP chemistry across both battery sizes suits hot markets and high-cycle fleet use, and all packs take a 30–80 per cent DC charge in about 15 minutes. Which version are you quoting?

The L07 is the Huawei-equipped sister model of the SL03, launched in September 2024 and updated for the 2026 model year on 13 August 2025 — Huawei Qiankun ADS SE standard across the range, a 200 kW motor on every version and a new 68.82 kWh pack. Separately, Deepal sells the Thai-built SL03 under the L07 name in Thailand; that car does not carry the Huawei package.

What an importer must know about the Deepal L07

LHD standard; right-hand-drive availability should be confirmed before quoting an RHD market — the Thai-built right-hand-drive car sold as the L07 is actually the SL03 without the Huawei package, so do not assume the two are interchangeable. Supplied through our Deepal authorization with factory-traceable invoicing and warranty documentation. Charging is GB/T on China-market cars. Huawei driver-assistance functions may be restricted or disabled outside China depending on local regulation of automated driving — we confirm which functions are active on the destination build rather than promising the full China feature set.

SL03 or L07 — which should I stock? +
They share a platform but target different buyers. The SL03 is positioned on driving dynamics with rear-wheel drive as the highlight; the L07 is the technology car with Huawei's driver-assistance and cabin software. In markets where Huawei carries strong consumer recognition, the L07 is the easier sale. Where customers care about how a car drives, the SL03.
Will the Huawei features work in my market? +
The hardware is fitted, but which driver-assistance functions are legally enabled varies by country — several markets restrict hands-off or automated lane-change features regardless of vehicle capability. We confirm the active function list for the destination build rather than promising the full Chinese feature set, so your customer knows exactly what they are getting.
Which battery should I order? +
The 68.82 kWh pack at 660 km CLTC where customers drive between cities — the step over the 56.12 kWh car at 550 km is substantial and the price step is usually modest. Both use the same 200 kW motor and LFP chemistry, so both handle heat and frequent fast charging well. Where charging is unreliable, quote the range-extender instead: 28.39 kWh, 240 km of CLTC electric range and over 1,500 km combined, which removes the charging question altogether.
