BMW X3 Li
Why this model
What makes the BMW X3 Li worth importing
2,975 mm wheelbase
About 111 mm longer than the standard X3, and BMW's first long-wheelbase version of this model. Rear legroom moves into a class above.
xDrive standard
All-wheel drive across the Chinese range rather than as an option, which suits markets with winter conditions or poor surfaces.
New for 2025
Reaching Chinese dealers in February 2025, this is a current-generation product rather than a run-out model — the technology and safety equipment are up to date.
Rear-drive-based architecture
Unlike the X1, the X3 uses BMW's rear-drive-based platform, so the driving character is closer to what the badge implies.

BMW X3 Li technical data
Manufacturer figures for the China-market car. Equipment and certification vary by trim, production batch and destination — we confirm the exact build sheet before the order is placed.

| 2.0T petrol — higher output ICE · 8-speed automatic | 190 kW258 PS | 400 Nm | — | — | xDrive |
A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the BMW X3 Li sits in the market
The X3 Li is BMW's first long-wheelbase X3, reaching Chinese dealers in February 2025 with a 2,975 mm wheelbase — roughly 111 mm longer than the standard car — and xDrive all-wheel drive across the range.
It is a current-generation product rather than a run-out model, so the technology and safety equipment are up to date, and unlike the X1 it uses BMW's rear-drive-based architecture so the driving character matches the badge. The extra rear space puts it into a class above the global X3 for passenger comfort. Parallel-export applies with no BMW warranty abroad, but mechanical components are shared with the global X3, making independent servicing feasible.

Before you order
What an importer must know about the BMW X3 Li
LHD; the Li long-wheelbase body is China-only and right-hand drive is not produced. BMW does not export it, so parallel-export applies with no dealer warranty. Because the model only reached dealers in February 2025, supply may be tighter than for established models and field history is short. Mechanical components are shared with the global X3 so servicing is feasible; long-wheelbase body panels come from China only. Confirm actual engine outputs on the build sheet, as Chinese trim numbers differ from European ones.
