Where the Changan CS75 Plus sits in the market
The CS75 Plus is Changan's best-selling SUV and, since September 2024, an all-new car: 4,770 mm long on a 2,800 mm wheelbase, with a 141 kW 1.5-litre Blue Whale turbo producing 310 Nm. A 2.0-litre turbo with 171 kW and 390 Nm followed in December 2024 as the Ultra, quoted at 7.3 seconds to 100 km/h. Both drive the front wheels through an Aisin eight-speed torque-converter automatic.
Two things matter commercially. The Aisin torque-converter automatic avoids the dual-clutch and CVT durability questions that follow many rivals, and it is a gearbox local workshops already understand. And Changan is a brand we hold direct dealer authorization for, so this is factory-invoiced supply with allocation priority rather than parallel sourcing — a materially different proposition from most cars in this catalogue. Two generations of CS75 Plus are still circulating in the export channel, so confirm which one a quotation covers.
The CS75 Plus nameplate has run since 2019. The figures here are the all-new generation launched in September 2024 (Changan code C928), which is 60 mm longer and 45 mm wider than the car it replaces, on a 90 mm longer wheelbase. Earlier CS75 Plus units still moving through the export channel measure 4,710 × 1,865 × 1,700 mm on a 2,710 mm wheelbase and use a 140 kW / 300 Nm 1.5T — confirm which generation a quotation covers.
