About the Brand
Who is Wuling?
Wuling is the volume brand of SAIC-GM-Wuling, the joint venture between SAIC, General Motors and Guangxi Automobile. It became globally known with the Hong Guang Mini EV, for a period the best-selling electric car in the world. Its strength is genuinely affordable small EVs, micro-vans and compact MPVs — vehicles priced where mass-market buyers and small businesses actually are.
Wuling exports both directly and through GM's overseas operations. Indonesia is the flagship market, with a local plant in Cikarang building the Air EV and Almaz; the Air EV has been exported onward to Thailand, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian markets, and Latin America takes Wuling vans and small EVs. Micro-EV homologation varies widely and some markets will not certify the smallest models at all, so confirm yours with us before ordering.
