Xpeng G6
Why this model
What makes the Xpeng G6 worth importing
800 volts with silicon carbide
Silicon-carbide power electronics on an 800-volt architecture charge 10 to 80 percent in 12 to 20 minutes. Few cars in this price class have either technology, let alone both.
Already sold officially across Asia-Pacific and Europe
Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand are confirmed export markets, so type approval exists against several major regimes.
Dual LiDAR and 11 cameras
Xpeng's driver-assistance hardware is the most advanced of any Chinese volume brand, running up to 1,500 TOPS on the Turing AI chip. It is the technical argument against a Tesla Model Y.
755 km CLTC without all-wheel drive
The 87.5 kWh rear-drive version is the range leader of the line-up. Most buyers do not need 358 kW, and the single-motor car goes considerably further.

Xpeng G6 technical data
Manufacturer figures for the China-market car. Equipment and certification vary by trim, production batch and destination — we confirm the exact build sheet before the order is placed.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Xpeng G6 sits in the market
The Xpeng G6 is a 4,753 mm coupé-SUV built on an 800-volt architecture with silicon-carbide power electronics — a technical specification normally found on cars costing far more. Battery options run from a 66 kWh CALB LFP pack to 87.5 kWh NMC, with rear-drive versions up to 218 kW and 755 km CLTC, and a 358 kW dual-motor car that reaches 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
It is Xpeng's most exported model and competes directly with the Tesla Model Y. The company already sells it officially in Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, which means real homologation precedent against both European and Asia-Pacific standards. Where Xpeng has appointed a distributor you would be competing with the manufacturer's own channel, so the strongest independent openings are the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
The 2025 model year added 68.5 kWh and 80.8 kWh CALB LFP packs alongside the existing NMC options. Confirm which battery is in the units you are quoting.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the Xpeng G6
LHD standard; right-hand-drive is not explicitly documented for the G6, but Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand are confirmed export markets and several are RHD — verify the specific build before quoting. Charging is GB/T on China-market cars and CCS2 on European and Australian specification. The 12–20 minute fast-charging figure requires a high-power DC charger; on a slower destination network the real time will be longer, so set that expectation with the end customer. Where Xpeng has an official distributor, factory warranty follows that channel and not a parallel-imported unit.
Market fit
Where the Xpeng G6 sells
Based on documented export presence and how the vehicle suits local conditions — not a guarantee of homologation, which we confirm per market before you order.
Middle East
No official Xpeng retail in most Gulf states, strong premium SUV demand, and fast-charging investment that suits the 800 V platform.
Southeast Asia
Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand are confirmed export markets with existing homologation and parts flow.
Central Asia
Open territory where the 755 km CLTC range handles long intercity distances and buyers compare against imported German SUVs.
Africa
Growing premium EV interest with almost no manufacturer-appointed distribution, leaving the field to independent importers.
