Between them in both size and price: 5,190 mm against the M7's 5,080 mm and the M9's 5,230 mm, on a 3,105 mm wheelbase. It carries the same Huawei ADS 4 system and HarmonyOS cabin as the flagship but costs less. For most buyers it is the sensible choice in the range — the M9 premium buys length and prestige rather than fundamentally better technology.

What does the 800-volt Whale platform give my customers? +

Substantially faster DC charging on the battery-electric version — roughly half the time of a 400 V car on a suitable charger. The caveat is that the destination charger must support high power, and most public networks outside China and Western Europe do not yet. The range-extender versions do not use this platform because they charge less often, which is worth explaining when comparing the two.

Is it too early to import this model? +

It launched in 2025 with no export programme, so parts stock outside China is minimal and field history is short. For a dealer who wants a current flagship-adjacent product and can accept those conditions, it works. For a customer needing dependable long-term service, the M7 or M9 have more units in circulation and better parts availability. We say which applies rather than pushing the newest model.
