Against that, the CR-V name is universally recognised while the Breeze is not — which matters in markets where badge familiarity drives sales.

How does the plug-in hybrid compare with the standard hybrid? +

The e:HEV self-charges and needs no infrastructure, delivering fuel savings automatically. The e:PHEV adds a larger battery and external charging for genuine electric-only running, which cuts fuel use much further if the customer charges regularly. Where charging exists, the plug-in is materially better; where it does not, the customer pays for a battery they cannot use. Honda does not publish the electric range consistently, so we confirm it per build.

Is the Breeze the same size as the CR-V? +

Very close. The 2025 Breeze is 4,716 mm long, 1,866 mm wide and 1,690 mm tall on a 2,700 mm wheelbase, which puts it within a few millimetres of the CR-V in every dimension. The differences are in styling, trim and the powertrain line-up rather than packaging. Interior space is effectively identical, though the Breeze is not offered in the seven-seat configuration the Chinese CR-V has.
