Honda Accord
Why this model
What makes the Honda Accord worth importing
One of the most recognised sedan nameplates
The Accord has been sold worldwide for decades. Buyers, mechanics and parts suppliers all know it, which removes the uncertainty that surrounds an unfamiliar model.
e:HEV hybrid needs no charging
Honda's two-motor hybrid system self-charges and delivers substantial fuel savings. In markets with no electric infrastructure that is the practical way to cut running costs.
Chinese production costs less
Dongfeng Honda's Chinese-built Accord lands well below Japanese or Thai production of the equivalent car, which is the entire commercial case for sourcing it here.
Corporate and taxi fleet staple
The Accord's durability record makes it a default choice for executive and taxi fleets in markets from the Gulf to Southeast Asia.

Honda Accord technical data
Manufacturer figures for the China-market car. Equipment and certification vary by trim, production batch and destination — we confirm the exact build sheet before the order is placed.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Honda Accord sits in the market
The Accord is Honda's mid-size sedan, built in China by Dongfeng Honda with a 141 kW 1.5-litre turbo producing 260 Nm through a CVT, and a 2.0-litre e:HEV hybrid. GAC Honda sells a closely related car as the Inspire.
It is a China-market vehicle that Honda does not export officially, so units move through the parallel channel. The commercial logic is price: Chinese production costs meaningfully less than Japanese or Thai equivalents, and the Accord badge needs no explanation anywhere in the world. The limitation is equally clear — Honda's local dealers will not honour warranty on a parallel-imported Chinese car, which matters because Accord buyers typically choose the badge for exactly that assurance.
Built by Dongfeng Honda. The 2026 facelift brought the Chinese car's styling closer to the American version. A related model is sold as the Inspire by GAC Honda.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the Honda Accord
LHD; right-hand-drive China-built Accord is not documented. This is a China-market model Honda does not export, so parallel-export applies and Honda's dealer networks will generally not honour warranty on imported units. Chinese specification differs from global cars in equipment and engine tune, so a customer expecting the local-market car may be surprised. Honda also builds the Accord in Thailand and elsewhere, so compare landed cost across origins — a Thai-built car may attract lower duty in ASEAN markets despite a higher factory price.
Market fit
Where the Honda Accord sells
Based on documented export presence and how the vehicle suits local conditions — not a guarantee of homologation, which we confirm per market before you order.
Middle East
Executive and taxi fleet demand across the Gulf where Honda has strong brand standing and the price gap is meaningful.
Central Asia
Mid-size sedan preference with Japanese brands trusted above all others; Chinese production undercuts the alternatives.
Africa
Corporate and government fleet demand where Honda's durability record decides purchases.
Southeast Asia
Strong Honda loyalty across the region, though note Honda builds locally in Thailand which may compete on duty.
